Leah Topek-Walker, LCSW


Leah Topek-Walker, LCSW has been providing psychotherapy and behavioral interventions to families, couples, individuals and groups facing a variety of challenges and struggles for several years.  She has helped many clients explore, cope and process grief, chronic illness, post traumatic stress, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, gender issues, sexual orientation and addiction.

Leah is dedicated to working with children and families, and bringing parents and children together in an effort to strengthen the family structure.  She has an intense understanding of “group work” centered on peer support and client’s internal strengths. Leah is a caring and empathic clinical social worker and works with individuals and couples as well as families and groups.

Leah graduated from Stony Brook's School of Social Welfare in May 2005. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker.
