The “Lesbians 40 and over Group” follows a combination of a therapeutic and support system model. This will be a small gathering of women who seek to enhance their confidence and self-esteem. Please join us as we work together to resolve issues of loneliness, fear, loss and ambivalence.The group will be limited to 8 participants.We will meet twice monthly in a safe secure environment on Wednesday nights from 8:00PM to 9:30PM.Donna B. The Freedman Center for Clinical Social Work is forming a small therapeutic support group for lesbians who are frustrated by the dating scene, have been in unhealthy relationships or are looking for peer support in an effort to improve their self-esteem.
This will be a small, intimate gathering of women who seek to form loving, healthy and mutually satisfying intimate relationships.Please join us as we work together to resolve issues of helplessness, fear, loss and ambivalence and develop effective coping strategies to achieve our goals. This group will be limited to 5 participants, so please sign up to reserve your space!Please be advised that there will be a $20 fee per session.
