Leah Topek-Walker graduated from Stony Brook's School of Social Welfare in May 2005 as a Licensed Master Social Worker. Leah has experience providing psychotherapy and behavioral interventions to people facing a variety of challenges and struggles, which include grief, chronic illness, post traumatic stress, domestic violence, depression, anxiety and addiction. She is dedicated to working with children and families, and in bringing parents and children together to strengthen their families.
Leah also has much experience facilitating groups centered around peer support and client’s internal strengths, and in working with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.
