The Freedman Center Transmens’ Group follows a combination of a therapeutic and support system model.It has been designed as a safe restorative environment, where guys can explore their journey to manhood.This group will be limited to 10 participants.With a small group you and your needs become the focus.Meetings will be monthly.Donna B. Riley, LMSW, is the group facilitator.The fee is $20 per session.

Transgender SOFFA Group Monthly Meeting Wednesday Evenings Starting March 16th, 2011
The Freedman Center Trans SOFFA Group is a group for significant other, family, friends, and allies of Transgender and Gender Variant people. Being a family member or supporter of a Transgender or Gender Variant person is difficult. Support is essential in a safe environment as you too are transitioning.This group will meet on the Third Wednesday of each month 8:00PM-9:30PM. There is a $20 fee for this group.

Gender Questioning Youth Group Bi-Monthly Meeting Saturday Afternoons – Starting in January 2011
The Freedman Center’s Gender Questioning Youth Group follows a combination of a therapeutic and support system model.It has been designed as safe new spaces for youth ages 15 to 21, who find typical gender boxes too restrictive. Support is essential in a safe environment.This group will meet bi-monthly on Saturday afternoons from 2:00PM-3:30PM. There is a $20 fee for this group.
